Summary

 

The Quality Engineer is responsible for administering the activities necessary to assure the quality of the processes and services related to ISO 9001:2015 compliance. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for assuring that the processes used/identified to produce and control services are within all necessary compliance. The Quality Engineer is an integral participant in creating an environment of compliance by contributing to the implementation of the organization’s quality policy, objectives, and goals.

The Quality Engineer will work at this site in a 3rd Party Logistics Warehouse (3PL). The Operation is primarily an Automotive Supply Chain Warehouse. 

 

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge of quality assurance/control and risk management administration, theories, principles, methodologies, and techniques. Specifically in ISO 9001:2015.
  • Technical expert of accreditation requirements for the ISO standards.
  • Certificated ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
  • Exceptional communication skills required when working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Expertise in MS Excel for data trending and reporting
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety practices.

Responsibilities

  • QMS Support by developing/managing ISO 9001:2015 certifications as necessary across multiple sites.
  • Drive and/or participate in continuous improvement projects using Kaizen / Six Sigma Projects and/or enhance company’s quality system and services.
  • Design and implement AQP (Advanced Quality Planning) for new business across multiple categories. Write, interpret, and develop implementation instructions.
  • Develop policies and procedures and present status on special reports, prepare and/or give briefings to higher-level management.
  • Special deployment to other domestic sites at a moment’s notice to assist local Management with non-conformities, customer audits, special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Managing corrective actions/root cause analysis.
  • Maintaining and creating procedures/controlled documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in a related field

3 - 5 years experience 

Bilingual in Spanish - Preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office 

Pay Range

USD $75,000.00 - USD $75,000.00 /Yr.
